Custom orders are welcome. We're happy to work with you to design a carved mantel, beam or door to suit your sense of style, your favorite subject matter or whatever you like. Some of the carved beams are in stock and ready to ship. Reproductions of the more complex designs can be ready in four weeks or less.

Most of the carved fireplace mantels are made from reclaimed and recycled materials, mainly from barn beams and lumber mills. Sometimes we get old posts and beams from barns and plane them down to reveal the pristine wood. It's great to see an old gray piece of wood come back to life as a new piece of art whether as a mantelpiece topper or a carved shelf mounted on a living room wall.
We also have access to blocks of new wood that we make into carved furniture like the heron side table. We can make a matching pair, his and hers complimentary designs or whatever custom carved furniture you like. Our customers often ask for hand carved furniture with a particular theme like fish, birds or other wildlife. Please feel free to get in touch with us to figure out what we can come up with together.
