About the Green Mountain Wood Chicks

	Miss Autumn comes to the Green Mountains by way of the South. Spending time in Arkanas, North Carolina, Florida, Texas and Georgia before landing in Vermont. When not setting out with a specific theme, the inspiration comes from the piece of wood itself. Take the Mountain beam for example... "I looked at the beam and saw the knot as the full moon and then deciced there needed to be mountains. I drew the mountains out on the wood and started working."

	Kate was raised in the West, growing up in Montana, Wyoming and Nevada before making her way to Vermont. "I love to challenge myself to get better. I love working with wood, it just makes me happy doing it. I get personal with each piece and spend time with it, I get up early in the morning to fit in some sanding. I just work on these beams whenever I get the chance."
